You Don't Have to Choose.

For anyone who has ever lived between faith and reason and quietly refused to let go of either.

Many of us live between faith and reason, trying to reconcile science and spirituality, and searching for meaning in life. We never believed faith and science were enemies; we just struggled to explain how they could coexist.

This book is that conversation. And it begins right here.

About The Author

Meenakshi Dhar spent her career in technology, in rooms where logic ruled, and precision was the standard. But she was always quietly carrying bigger questions alongside the technical ones, questions about faith in a scientific age, about what science can explain and what it leaves beautifully, stubbornly open. Living With Both is the book that grew out of all of it: the childhood home, the engineering degree, the marriage, the grief. It is the book she needed to read when she couldn’t find one that held all of her at once.

Faith, Science, and the Search for Meaning in a World Without Easy Answers

Living With Both is not a debate or a theology lecture; it is one woman’s deeply personal attempt to hold faith and science in the same heart and write honestly about what that feels like. Meenakshi Dhar grew up with quiet, steady faith, was trained as an engineer, built a career in technology, married a man whose skepticism challenged everything she had inherited, and then lost her father, discovering that no equation could tell her where to place her grief or how to keep going. Living between faith and reason was never a philosophical position for her. It was just her life. And she wrote this book because she had a feeling it might be yours, too. If you’ve ever wondered whether you can believe in God and science simultaneously, this book won’t ask you to stop wondering; it will ask you to delve a little deeper.

Testimonials

What Her Readers Are Saying

"I have spent years feeling like I had to keep my faith and my science in separate rooms, like letting them meet would break something. This book let them finally sit together. I didn't want it to end."
Wanda Frans
Readers Are Saying
"I've read Francis Collins. I've read Rachel Held Evans. This book belongs on that same shelf. If you've ever wrestled with faith in a scientific age and felt alone in that wrestling, you won't feel alone anymore."
Tina Jhonson
Readers Are Saying
"Meenakshi writes the way a trusted friend talks honestly, gently, without pretending she has all the answers. I picked this up while grieving my mother and found exactly the kind of company I didn't know I needed. This is what faith after loss actually sounds like."
Lucas George
Readers Are Saying
"The chapter on grief broke me open in the best way. Grief and spirituality rarely get talked about this honestly. Meenakshi doesn't wrap it in a bow. She just sits in it with you. That's rare. That's everything."
